What a welcoming place! We arrived very early (9:30 AM), before our room was ready. We were greeted warmly and served a cup of coffee. Then the staff offered to store our luggage so we could go out and explore. We returned shortly after 3 PM and checked into our room. The staff delivered our luggage to our room, which was lovely and spotlessly clean, if a bit small by American standards. The bathroom, however, was large and very well-appointed. Hint - the small chest on the vanity holds numerous amenities and wash cloths. We booked the rate that included the buffet breakfast, and we were very glad we did. They offered virtually anything you could imagine, at a very high quality. Delicious! It was an easy, safe 20 minute walk to most of the sight-seeing. Very convenient. The staff was helpful in making recommendations, and will book excursions, taxis, etc. Every time we passed through the lobby, at least one person would check on us to see if we needed anything. We would definitely return.

I stayed in Amsterdam at the Monet Garden Hotel with my husband, and 2 other couples, after a cruise. We stayed for 3 nights. We loved this hotel. It was far enough away from any city noise, yet close enough that we walked almost everywhere. We ate the “French” breakfast and had dinner at the hotel and also had a few drinks at the bar. All were outstanding and the service was excellent. Checkin was efficient and friendly and our rooms were ready when we arrived early in the morning! The bed was very comfortable also. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean, welcoming and a class above what I would normally expect. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all amenities. The wet room was clean. Count of asked for more with the staff only to happy to greet you at all occasions. Reception was welcoming and very hospitable, with a glass of bubbly on arrival.

From start to finish the Monet Garden hotel was fantastic. The Hotel is spotless, the staff without exception were extremely friendly and helpful. The Breakfasts offered a wide range of both cold and hot food and was delicious. Even the location is great for restaurants, bars and cafes Everything about this hotel is top notch. We had a very very enjoyable stay and cannot wait for a return visit. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a superb stay in Amsterdam.

This hotel is modern and the rooms comfortable. View of the canal is disappointing (not of canal houses and boats). Hotel misses the charm of smaller boutique hotels. More formal here and less engaging. Overpriced. In my opinion, the location is not as desirable as other parts of the city. Nice breakfast area and lounge. Breakfast choices varied and well prepared. Just not my kind of hotel.
